Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community? The Holt Kiwanis Club offers an opportunity to participate in community projects while making new friends and forming a community wide network.  Holt Kiwanis is part of a worldwide organization of service clubs. There are almost 300,000 members in 8,000 local clubs in 96 countries.

Our projects include a twice-monthly bowling league for individuals with disabilities, an Easter Egg Hunt, and a Christmas program for children, complete with Santa Claus.

We hold blood drives every two months at the Holt Methodist Church, on the corner of Aurelius and Cedar Street.  We have collected over 1,400 units since 1996.

In order to sponsor many of our community projects, we organize several events to raise necesary funds.  We collect 150,000 pounds of newspaper per year for recycling.  We hold two collection days, five times a year, at Holt Plaza on the corner of Holt and Aurelius Roads.  We have been recycling newspapers for over 20 years.  Additionally, we hold two Chicken Bar-B-Q dinners.

Help us design new projects and work on existing programs. Some members choose to attend weekly dinner meetings and work on projects; others just participate in community or youth projects. Be our guest for dinner any Monday night at Charlar Place, 6:30 P.M.  Contact us at kiwanisclubofholt@gmail.com.  We look forward to hearing from you.
